My Story
Brandi Turner is a distinguished educator and community leader with over 21 years of experience in public education. She has significantly contributed to several school districts, including DeSoto USD #232, Perry-Lecompton USD #343, and Basehor-Linwood USD #458. Her diverse roles have ranged from classroom teacher and librarian to building learning coach. Currently, Brandi is the Senior Manager of Curriculum for the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) in Lawrence.
In addition to her educational career, Brandi is a successful entrepreneur, managing a small business that creates and delivers personalized gifts to college students, corporate clients, and hospital patients. Her entrepreneurial spirit is matched by her dedication to volunteerism and community service.
Brandi has played vital roles in various volunteer organizations. She has served on the Building Leadership Team in multiple school districts, led the English Language Arts (ELA) Department, and mentored new teachers. Her involvement with Girls on the Run of Greater Kansas City includes roles as Head Coach, Mentor, 5K Chair, and Site Coordinator. She is also an active member of Life Church Lenexa and a volunteer on the Angel Board for The Children's Place, which is a specialized trauma treatment center serving the mental health needs of young children.
Known for her positive attitude, effective problem-solving skills, and ability to bring fresh ideas to the table, Brandi Turner exemplifies leadership and dedication. Her extensive experience in education and her unwavering commitment to community service make her a valuable asset to any organization she serves.
Brandi currently resides in Basehor, Kansas, where she continues to impact her community through her professional and volunteer endeavors.
